1st to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering on the internet or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are penniless. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic almost never ever functions. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount put aside prior to starting your play. DO NOT go over that boundary, no matter how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not use your winnings no matter what. Once you have gone through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it is on the web or at a land-based casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Always remember, betting is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot manage the loss, don’t even begin.
